Meet The Doctors
Sara Whitmore, a Cleveland native, moved to Brooklyn after college and loved New York so much, she never looked back. Sara chose primary care because “it affords me the extraordinary privilege of building meaningful partnerships with people to help them stay healthy.” She believes that One Medical’s mission to put patients first is what health care is truly about. Sara’s style is compassionate, holistic, and evidence-based, and she particularly enjoys focusing on areas of women’s health, depression/anxiety, hypertension, weight management, smoking cessation, and more. Sara also values working with women in their 20s, helping them build the skills to take care of themselves throughout adult lives. She is also adept at helping patients gain motivation to change their lifestyles, and she prides herself on being an attentive, nonjudgmental listener. To maintain her own health, Sara practices mindfulness meditation and yoga. She also enjoys playing outside with her son, exploring the Hudson Valley and other scenic places outside of the city, reading, cooking, and eating with friends. Sara graduated from Columbia University’s Adult Nurse Practitioner program and is AANP-certified.
