He completed a surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Cleeman rounded out his postdoctoral training with a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Nirschl Orthopaedic Center for Sports Medicine in Arlington, Virginia.In addition to his clinic work, Dr. Cleeman serves as an assistant clinical professor at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and conducts orthopedic research. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Cleeman s artistry goes well beyond the surgical suite. He s an accomplished painter whose work has been featured at several art exhibits. In his spare time, Dr. Cleeman enjoys cycling with the New York Cycling Club and has volunteered at the New York City Triathlon.
