Emily Slater, MD specializes in general Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD). Her clinical interests include the care of pregnant patients with ACHD, and has research focused on the indications for pulmonary valve replacement in palliated pulmonary stenosis. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) and an assistant attending cardiologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital (NYP). Dr. Slater completed her MD at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She subsequently trained in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Harvard University. She completed her fellowships in both Cardiovascular Medicine and Adult Congenital Heart Disease at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. She currently sees patients at Columbia University Medical Center in Washington Heights, NY and in New Jersey.
