Michele Yeung, M.D.

Description

Dr. Yeung received her undergraduate degree from Barnard College, Columbia University and graduated with her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She then completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell.  Her clinical and research interest focuses on the complex interplay between obesity, metabolic dysfunction–associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD)/Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH), and gastrointestinal health. Dr. Yeung has additional roles in medical education and quality improvement.
