Cardiology New York
Pritha Subramanyam, MD FACC was born and raised in Manhattan, New York. After graduating from Yale University with a major in Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology, she attended New York University School of Medicine. She then completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where she graduated with a degree track in Medical Education. After residency, she completed her fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Subramanyam is a diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology and member of the National Lipid Association, American College of Cardiology (ACC), and American Society of Echocardiography. She has published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, the International Journal of Cardiology, the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, as well as presented at several national cardiology conferences. She also maintains an active role in cardiovascular medical education, serving on local and national committees for medical school curriculum and cardiology fellowship programs, as part of the ACC.
