I am a plastic surgeon with expertise in microsurgery and supermicrosurgery of the lymphatics — the vessels, nodes, and ducts that collect and circulate excess fluid in the body — and other subspecialties of reconstructive surgery. My work extends across several specialties, including microsurgery of the breast, the lymphatic system, and the extremities. I specialize in autologous breast reconstruction, reconstruction after sarcoma surgery, and lymphovenous bypass, a surgical procedure that reroutes lymph vessels to nearby veins to treat lymphedema, a swelling of tissue caused by a buildup of lymph fluid.
