Dr. Silvina Om is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. She delivers evidence-based, preventive, and personalized care that promotes long-term health and meaningful improvements in quality of life. She emphasizes continuity and trust-based relationships, partnering with patients to support informed decision-making aligned with their goals and values. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, women’s health, and mental health. With additional training in integrative medicine, Dr. Om incorporates whole-person approaches alongside conventional medical care, helping patients develop sustainable lifestyle strategies to prevent and manage disease and support healthy aging. Born and raised in Argentina, she is fluent in Spanish and brings a culturally informed perspective to her care. Dr. Om has a particular interest in health policy, healthcare administration, and medical education. She serves as Medical Director of Education, leading faculty development and overseeing medical student education, and is faculty in the Columbia Family Medicine Residency Program, where she trains and mentors residents.
