Joseph Westrich, MD, is a pulmonary and critical care physician and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, primarily practicing at ColumbiaDoctors 51 W. 51st St multi-specialty practice. He graduated from medical school at Loyola University Chicago, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society. He completed internal medicine training at the University of Chicago and completed pulmonary and critical care fellowship training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he was also chief fellow. Dr. Westrich is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians and has presented research at the American Thoracic Society International Conference. Dr. Westrich focuses on providing excellent care for patients suffering from a broad range of lung diseases, including patients with asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, and interstitial lung disease.
