Zuleika Tavarez, NP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and Midwife who has dedicated her career to supporting individuals across all reproductive life stages. She has a passion for empowering women and an understanding that women’s reproductive experiences require unique support. For the past five years, she has provided obstetric and gynecologic care as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Recognizing a significant gap in psychiatric care that truly understood the psychological impact of reproductive experiences, she earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree. She completed her clinical training at Brooklyn Parent Support and went on to complete specialized training in reproductive psychiatry through Postpartum Support International. Zuleika prioritizes holistic, collaborative care rooted in self-exploration and empowerment. While she believes medication management can be essential, she sees it as just one part of a broader healing process.
