Mumtahina Hossain was born and raised in New York City. Ms. Hossain earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Family Medicine with a subspeciality in Women’s Health from Columbia University School of Nursing. She completed her clinical training in outpatient primary care, adult internal medicine, and obstetrics/gynecology. She is board-certified in family medicine.Ms. Hossain received her Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing. During her career, Ms. Hossain worked as a medical-surgical and cardiac stepdown registered nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian.Ms. Hossain received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a specialty in Biology and Chemistry from Stony Brook University. She is interested in women’s health, primary care, preventive, and internal medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her cats, reading, and hiking.
