Kris Abiola, AGPCNP-BC, is a highly experienced Neuro-Oncology Nurse Practitioner at Weill Cornell Medicine’s Brain Tumor Center. With over 17 years of nursing experience across neuro-oncology, neurology, orthopedics, and intermediate care, Kris is recognized for her expertise in managing complex neurological conditions and her deep commitment to patient-centered care.In her current role, Kris conducts comprehensive neurological assessments, develops and manages individualized treatment plans, and collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize chemotherapy and radiation protocols. She is also a trusted educator and mentor, guiding new nurse practitioners and nursing staff in evidence-based practice and clinical excellence.Kris is passionate about patient advocacy and education, ensuring that individuals and families navigating brain tumor diagnoses receive compassionate, holistic, and well-coordinated care. Her leadership in quality improvement initiatives continues to strengthen safety, continuity, and outcomes across the neuro-oncology service.Kris earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Hunter College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hampton University.
