Dr. Yuan Ji is a board-certified neurologist with a subspecialty certification in Headache Medicine. She focuses on the diagnosis and management of complex headache disorders. Dr. Ji earned her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed her neurology residency at NYU Langone Medical Center. She then completed a fellowship at the Montefiore Headache Center. Dr. Ji is passionate about patient-centered care and medical education. She became interested in headache medicine as a medical student and has been fascinated by the complexity of the brain and the challenges of treating neurological disorders. What drew her to the field of headache was the combination of evidence-based therapies and a holistic approach that requires continued collaboration to develop personalized treatment plans. Because headache disorders often result in a significant impact on many aspects of patients' daily lives, she finds it deeply rewarding to work with patients and help them improve their quality of life.
