Description
Markette opened at 326 Seventh Avenue in July 2025. Chef India Doris and Alex Pfaffenbach met working at The NoMad and built the room they wanted to eat in.
India trained across London, France and Spain and was previously sous chef at SAGA, and in 2025 she was named the MICHELIN Guide Northeast Cities Young Chef Award winner. Alex came from Eleven Madison Park and Quality Branded.
Fogarty Finger designed the space, with burnt orange banquettes, Murano glass chandeliers, hand painted murals and a fireplace. The Argyle cocktail lounge opened downstairs at the same address.
