Dr. Katherine Hopkins is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in hernia repair and emergency general surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She graduated with a Distinction in Research and was honored with the Mrs. David A. Dreiling Surgery Prize. Dr. Hopkins completed her residency in General Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she received multiple accolades for academic excellence and professionalism, including the Faculty & Trainee Professionalism Accolade and consecutive Professional Enrichment Stipends.
