This encounter made it clear to Joseph that disabled individuals are among the most vulnerable, often facing not only exploitation but also widespread inaccessibility. Motivated by this, Joseph turned his focus to civil rights litigation, where he has become a passionate advocate for the rights of disabled individuals.
