Dr. Mei Zhang earned her medical degree from Henan Medical School in China in 1995. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) from 1995 to 1997 before entering the New York University College of Dentistry, where she received her DDS degree in 2000. Following dental school, Dr. Zhang completed residency training at Westchester Medical Center from 2000 to 2001. She went on to practice dentistry in Westchester, New York, for more than 20 years. Throughout her career, Dr. Zhang has pursued advanced training and continuing education in several areas of dentistry. She completed the Linhart Continuing Dental Education Program in Implantology and Prosthetic Dentistry at NYU from 2009 to 2011 and Progressive Orthodontic Seminars from 2006 to 2008. She is also Invisalign certified. Dr. Zhang is currently an Assistant Professor of Dental Medicine at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.
