Candice B Zemnick, DMD

Description

Dr. Candice Zemnick is a Maxillofacial Prosthodontist who received her MPH from New York Medical and earned her DMD from Tufts University. She then received her Prosthodontics training at Columbia University followed by completion of a Maxillofacial Prosthetics fellowship, training jointly between Columbia University Medical Center/NYPH and the VA Medical Center. For nearly two decades, she has remained at Columbia University as an Associate Professor, serving in multiple director roles including Director of Predoctoral Prosthodontics and as Director of the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Clinic. She achieved induction into the Glenda Garvey Teaching Academy along with receiving several faculty and teaching awards. She has continually served at the JJP VA Medical Center as a hospital Attending and clinical Instructor for over 20 years, including as Director of the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Training Program. Dr. Zemnick has lectured nationally and internationally, and is a fellow of the Greater NY Academy of Prosthodontics and the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. She is additionally published in peer-reviewed journals and has served as a reviewer for publications including the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and the Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal.
