Description

Alyssa is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with a focus in pulmonology. She began her nursing career at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where she completed an inpatient nurse residency program from 2015 to 2016, before joining New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she spent the next decade working as a critical care nurse. Her time at NYP began on a Medical/Pulmonary stepdown unit before transitioning to the Medical ICU in 2018. While working in the ICU, Alyssa earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Hunter College and completed two clinical rotations with the Weill Cornell Pulmonary team. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Molloy College (2015), a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland (2011), and is certified in both critical care nursing (CCRN) and wound care (CWCN).
