Elliott Y. Huang, MD, MPH, is a pediatric nephrologist who treats a variety of kidney-related diseases, including but not limited to high blood pressure, glomerulonephritis, kidney stones, acute kidney injury, and chronic kidney disease. Since patients with kidney disease may have greater needs and require greater support, he works closely with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, nutrition, social work, and pharmacy to do their best to address all patients’ needs. Research is an important part of how Dr. Huang helps his patients. He is interested in taking the information available from electronic health records and finding meaningful trends. By identifying these patterns, he can help improve the way kidney diseases are managed. Through his research and through his clinical duties, he strives to help children thrive and live healthy and fulfilling lives.
