Karima Muhammad, MSN, RN, FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the Division of Neuromuscular Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Karima has a comprehensive background and experience in healthcare. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York City College of Technology, and a Master of Science in Nursing from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Karima has over 8 years of nursing experience in adults and pediatrics. Her previous experience is medical and surgical and includes working at the emergency department, and performing lung cancer screenings. In addition to work, Karima enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and running. Karima is looking forward to continuing to grow professionally and make positive impacts in the lives of her patients.
