Jenny Kinder is a board-certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Practitioner with a sincere passion for helping improve the lives of all patients she treats. She graduated with honors from Seattle University and began her nursing career in public health nursing and home care. She quickly discovered that her greatest fulfillment came from helping patients heal complex wounds and, most particularly, guiding individuals with ostomies as they adapted to life after surgery, regained confidence, and returned to living full, meaningful lives. She became a Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) through Cleveland Clinic, completing her clinical practicum at Colombia University Medical Center. Prior to joining Weill Cornell Medicine, she has practiced as a CWOCN in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including Lenox Hill Hospital, Visiting Nurse Health, and New York University Langone Hospital Long Island. She completed her Master of Science in Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at Hunter College. Her expertise, combined with a compassionate, patient-centered approach, enables her to deliver individualized, evidence-based care to patients with complex medical needs. She is committed to optimizing clinical outcomes, enhancing quality of life, and supporting each patient's healing journey through comprehensive, personalized care.Jenny is an active member of American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society, American Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau, and Alpha Sigma Nu.
