SBLC for trade program

I entered into a agreement with Mayfair Advisors, LTD on Feb 4,2013 so that they could facilitate a Standby Letter of Credit. I needed the SBLC to enter a Zurich based PPP. I paid the required fee and also agreed to sharing 30 percent of my trade profits with Mayfair. On Feb 20,2013 the SBLC was sent via SWIFT as the agreement called for. My problem is it was 1 week late which caused me to miss my slot in the PPP. Now I cannot participate for another 3 weeks. I asked Mayfair to take a lesser share of the profits as the SBLC was 1 week behind schedule. They refused .
