ABELL OUJADDOU
Abell Oujaddou began his career as an assistant to Bruno Pittini at the Bruno Dessange salon in New York City, and he continued to perfect his skills working under legendary hairdresser Oribe. The early guidance of two influential industry figures proved to be the building blocks of a remarkable career. During the late nineties, Abell moved to California to work for famed hairstylist Jose Eber in Beverly Hills. During his time on the west coast, he decided to broaden his horizons and became involved in film and television production. He took the invaluable experience he garnered and returned to New York City to work at the world-renowned John Frieda salon. Abell has worked with some of the most prominent names in the industryincluding Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Kate Hudson, Robert DeNiro, and Sam Mendes. His experience ranges from editorial shoots to commercial and film work, as well as heading up the hair teams for top designers including Calvin Klein and Chanel. He has an innate sensibility and understanding of what it takes to bring to light a woman's inherent style and elegance. In 2010 Abell and celebrity colorist Marie Robinson opened the Marie Robinson Salon on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan's Flatiron District.
