  ABELL OUJADDOU

  Abell Oujaddou began his career as an assistant to Bruno Pittini at the Bruno Dessange salon in New York City, and he continued to perfect his skills working under legendary hairdresser Oribe. The early guidance of two influential industry figures proved to be the building blocks of a remarkable career. During the late nineties, Abell moved to California to work for famed hairstylist Jose Eber in Beverly Hills. During his time on the west coast, he decided to broaden his horizons and became involved in film and television production. He took the invaluable experience he garnered and returned to New York City to work at the world-renowned John Frieda salon. Abell has worked with some of the most prominent names in the industryincluding Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Kate Hudson, Robert DeNiro, and Sam Mendes. His experience ranges from editorial shoots to commercial and film work, as well as heading up the hair teams for top designers including Calvin Klein and Chanel. He has an innate sensibility and understanding of what it takes to bring to light a woman's inherent style and elegance. In 2010 Abell and celebrity colorist Marie Robinson opened the Marie Robinson Salon on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan's Flatiron District.

  RYAN COTTON

  Born and raised in the Midwest, Ryan Cotton moved to New York City in 2002. A veteran of Serge Normant at John Frieda Downtown Salon, Ryan has built a diverse and loyal clientele over the years. Although he displays diversity in all of his cuts, Ryan is known for giving clients "invisible layers"—a technique that gives women with longer hair great shape while blending the layers seamlessly. Beyond his artistic and technical skills, Ryan's success can also be attributed to his aptitude for consulting. He takes pride in the fact that he listens to exactly what his clients want, while offering an honest and professional opinion on what will work for them. Ryan gathers his inspiration from the countless trendsetters that visit him regularly as well as from collaborations with to photographers including Annie Leibovitz, Joshua Jordan and Albert Watson. His work has appeared in leading fashion publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, and In Style. Ryan's attention to detail has made him a much sought-after hairstylist amongst celebrities, and he has styled Emma Roberts, Maya Rudolph, Julianne Moore, Ellen Barkin, and Kristen Wiig. His work has also been featured on the runways of New York Fashion Week for renowned designers such as Marc Jacobs, Sue Stemp, Rag & Bone, and Ralph Lauren. In 2010, Ryan joined the Marie Robinson Salon.

• JESSICA GILLIN

  Jessica has proven to bee a strong force in the fashion world, working with famed celebrity stylists Danilo, and Orlando Pita for top runway shows including Tom Ford, Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Christian Dior, Herve Leger, LAMB, Vera Wang, Jill Stuart, Tory Burch, Doo Ri, Derek Lam. Most recently, Jessica worked with Pita for the 2012 Victoria's Secret fashion show. Designers Jill Stuart and Tory Burch consider Jessica their "go-to" for all television and personal appearances. Jessica's work has also appeared in leading publications such as Vogue, Lucky, W, Tatler, Hamptons and Town & Country. Jessica has worked with Michelle Williams, Jane Krakowski, Ahlee Simpson, Mary Louise Parker, Joan Allen, Sarah Paulson, and Tracy Anderson. In April 2010, Jessica joined the Marie Robinson salon as a stylist.

• KATIE SEGUIN

  After studying at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, Katie Seguin soon established herself as one of the most sought after stylists in the Midwest, working at salons Urban Retreat and Schmidty's, where she assisted owner Tom Schmidt. In 2003, Katie decided to take her talent to New York City where she began assisting renowned stylist Ryan Trygstad. It wasn't long after that, Katie discovered her flair for working with hair extentions. Certified by Great Lengths, she is recognized as one of the top extentions specialists. Katie's celebrity clientele includes Josh Hartnett, Mike Myers, and Rachel Weisz. It was through Rachel that Katie was able to venture into the world of film, doing Rachel's hair extensions for the movies Definitely, Maybe and Fred Claus. Her work has been seen on the pages of top fashion magazines such as Italian Vogue and GQ, as well as on the runways of fashion designers Nicole Miller, Hollywould and Joy Cioci. In April 2010, Katie joined the Marie Robinson salon as a stylist.

  Abby began her career in Brooklyn, at Williamsburg's Woodley and Bunny Salon, wehre she trained with acclaimed editorial stylist Erin Anderson. Crossing the river to Sally Hershberg Downtown, Abby's profile quickly rose as she spent the next several years cultivating her technique amid a roster of exceptional industry talent, including stylists Mary Brunetti and Mark Townsend. Having styled for a growing roster of celebrity clients including Natalie Portman and Jessica Beil, Abby is also a NYC Fashion Week veteran with a portfolio that features runway work for Alexander Wang, Herve Leger and Max Azria. Equally passionate about editorial work, Abby has styled for WinkNYC and Antler Magazine. Under the guidance of her esteemed mentors, Abby developed a reputation for innovative simplicity and her client list began to grow. Eventually, Abby's skill, work ethic and creativity caught the attention of celebrated colorist Marie Robinson. Abby is thrilled to bring her signature approach of loose, manageable and edgy hair to Marie Robinson Salon. In 2010, Abby joined the Marie Robinson Salon.

  ALLISON WOODRUFF

  Allison's career began in 2001 when she started working at the renowned Oscar Bond Salon. With the guidance of Oscar Bond and Paula Ivins Kingston, she was able to polish her technical skills and realize her creative capabilities. Allison perfected her styling techniques after her move to Sally Hershberger Downtown. A true artist, Allison views hairdressing as a creative outlet and a "bridge between art and commerce." Both her strong artistic vision and flair for versatility have contributed to her success. Her styles range from technically precise bobs to sexy long layer. Allison works one-on-one with her clients to create a customized look that compliments their lifestyle, face shape and hair type. Allison styled Parker Posey's hair in the film Happy Tears. She has ventured into teleision, styling Edie Falco's hair for season 2 of Showtime's Nurse Jackie. In addition, she styled Karen Elson's hair for the video "Truth is in the Dirt." Allison has worked on numerous fashion shows including Marc Jacobs, Dior, Prada, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Miu Miu. In 2010, Allison joined the Marie Robinson Salon.

• FREDERIQUE CARME

  Frederique Carme grew up in Marseille, France. Spending countless hours in her mother's hair salon, she fell in love with the art of hair styling. Ultimately self-taught, Frederique has traveled the globe for the past fifteen years practicing and showcasing her exceptional talent. After leaving Marseille, she went on to live in Paris, London and Los Angeles. While in Paris, Frederique worked at Toni & Guy and exhibited her work at Paris Fashion week. Self-described as an "urban nomad," Frederique ultimately moved to New York City and is now a backstage regular during fashion week. Her philosophy and understanding about the psychological effect of one's hair, helps her to succeed in making each of her clients happy with an individual look she provides. In June 2011, Frederique joined the Marie Robinson Salon as a stylist.

  Tom Ghallager has been a stylist for nearly 25 years and has been an educator for 15 years. He was integral in the development and launch of the education program at Bumble and Bumble. Tom has been working under Oribe since he began with the company in early 2009. Most recently, he assisted Oribe on the Victoria's Secret commercial and at the Armani shows in Paris and Milan. Tom is an extremely talented educator and is well known for his ability to deliver information on product knowledge and technique in a fun-yet-focused way.

• MARISSA MARTONI

  Marissa's passion for hair styling was instilled in her from a young age. While growing up in Michigan, Marissa assisted her mother at her hair salon, handling daily operations and learning the ins and outs of salon life. It was here that Marissa developed her appreciation for styling. Marissa entered the world of beauty like a storm and began studying cosmetology at the Aveda Institute in Michigan. In 2010, Marissa knew it was time to spread her wings and pursue her dream of hairstyling in the big city, and once Marissa arried in New York there was no stopping her. She worked for a year and a half as an assistant to fellow Marie Robinson stylist Tommy Buckett. In this role, Marissa developed her skills by offering innovative, sophisticated styles with a fun modern edge. Marissa has styled the runways of several New York Fashion Week shows, such as Joy Cioci, and photo shoots for Tommy Hilfiger and Seventeen magazine. In January 2012, Marissa joined the Marie Robinson salon as a stylist.

  MARIE ROBINSON

  Marie Robinson, one of the most influential colorists in the industry, got her start at the age of 19 with an apprenticeship at the Pierre Michel Salon in NYC. There she discovered her artistic flair and natural inclination toward hair color and all of its attributes. Shortly thereafter, Marie began assisting other established talents in the industry, including celebrity hair stylist, Danilo. After 4 years at Pierre Michelle she joined John Frieda, where she assisted Christophe Robin and mastered the skill of balayage. Marie's talent soon caught the attention of Bumble and bumble, where she continued her work as a fulltime colorist, and instructor. In 2003, she was recruited to the newly opened Sally Hershberger Downtown Salon, where she served as head colorist for seven years. Marie's unmatched talent and warm personality have allowed her to build a long and loyal list of celbrity clients including Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz, Scarlett Johansson, Liv Tyler, Naomi Watts, Kristen Stewart, Michelle Williams, Marisa Tomei, Catharine Keener and Stephanie Seymour, among others. In 2010 Abell and celebrity colorist Marie Robinson opened the Marie Robinson Salon on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan's Flatiron District.

• BRYAN THOMSON DIPALMA

  Originally from Australia, Bryan Thomson-DiPalma began his career as a hair colorist in Sydney. He quickly established a reputation for his exceptional color work, which led to him being in high-demand for fashion styling, as well as theater and film. Bryan has collaborated on many projects with the director Baz Lurhmann—most notably for "Strickly Ballroom" and the Broadway production of "La Boehme." He was honored as the "Australian Hair Colorist of the Year" and acted as a spokesperson and educator for both Wella and Redken Australia. Upon arriving in New York in 1996, Bryan joined the John Frieda Salon where he was able to display his talents stateside. He relocated to the Flatiron district of New York to Sacha & Oliver Salon in 1999, before moving two years later to Tosler Davis Hair. Bryan was featured as the color consultant for his client Stephanie Seymour's "Beauty Secrets for Dummies," and in 2005, T: The New York Times Style Magazine named him as "Best Hair Colorist for Blondes." Bryan's work has appeared in editorials for leading fashion magazines such as W, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE and Italian Vogue. In April 2010, Bryan joined the Marie Robinson salon as a colorist.

  CAROLINE BUCKLER

  Caroline Buckler grew up in New York City, ad has exhibited great creatiity in all her professional endeavors. Caroline was a television and video effects artist for 15 years before she made the change to being a hair colorist. While pursung her career as a video effects artist, she worked on ESPN's Emmy winning documentary Sports Century, as well as numerous programs for VH1 and Sony. After working for many years in the television and video effects industry Caroline was ready for a change in her astistic expression. After a hiatus in Maui, she returned to New York in 2007 refreshed and rejuvenated. She attended the Avedda Institue and began work at Sally hershberger Downtown after completing her studies in October of 2007. Caroline, an outdoor enthusiast, spends her time surfing, windsurfing and competing in triathalons, all while building her clientele. In April, 2010, Caroline joined the Marie Robinson Salon as a colorist.

  AMY HUSON

  Amy Huson grew up in Binghamton, New York surrounded by an artistic family that encouraged her passion for style. She decided to combine her artistic background and love of style and express both through hair styling. She attended hair school and moved to Manhatton. Amy's love of hair coloring began at the Louis Licari Salon in uptown Manhatton, but after a year Amy realized she loved the downtown salon vibe. Moving to an East Village salon, Amy began an apprenticeship under Laurie Foley at the L'Atelier de Laurie. While working at L'Atelier de Laurie, Amy discovered her passion for balayage. She took this unique style of coloring to Serge Normant in the Meatpacking District and quickly became known for her artistic flair. She worked at Serge Normant for three years. Amy takes pride in creating incredibly natural-looking color— like that of a child who's been playing under the summer sun. Her free-form style also allows her to create edgy looks that get her clients noticed. Amy's creative work has been exhibited in advertisements for DKNY, GAP and Louis Vuitton. In September, 2010, Amy joined the Marie Robinson Salon as the balayage expert.

• DANIELLE VISCUSO

  Danielle Viscuso recognized her passion and unique talent in the beauty arena at an early age. Always fascinated by new trends, Danielle began her career during high school, working at her hometown salon in Connecticut. Upon graduation, Danielle purued her passion and moved to New York City to attend carsten Institute in Union Square. After completing Carsten, Danielle began her career at Oscar Blandi where she had the opportunity to showcase her talent during extreme makeover sessions on Live! with Regis and Kelly. Soon after, Daniele met and began assisting Marie Robinson. Danielle believes hair color is a woman's most powerful accessory. Under Marie's direction she is more determined than ever to become a top colorist. Her desterity, along with her creative ability and down-to-earth nature, allows her to connect with clients on a personal level and deliver the exact look they desire. In April 2011, Danielle joined the Marie Robinson Salon as a colorist.

• KIMBERLY CANNON

  Kimberly Cannon got her start in hair as a teenager, working in her sister's Philadelphia salon. Although she herself wasn't immediately convinced, her sister and mother saw an immense talent and knew that this was what she was meant to do; both strongly encouraged her to attend school and work in New York City. Kimberly soon began attending the Aveda Institute, where she quickly set a goal for herself—to take the time to learn from as many people as she could so she would be able to cater to each and every client. After graduating, she began her apprenticeship assisting colorist Jason Backe of the Ted Gibson Salon and a year later moved on to Serge Normant, working under Gina Gilbert. In addition to assisting Gina with her celebrity clientele, Kimberly was hands-on assisting Gina on the hair color for major ad campaigns on a makeover story in the October 2010 issue of Allure. To complete her training, Kimberly assisted celebrated colorist Marie Robinson at her eponymous salon, where one of her first tasks was working on the Jill Stuart fashion show. Kimberly pprides herself on havin trained with some of the most recognized colorists in the industry where she has accomplished her goal of not just specializing in one technique, but being well-rounded and able to fulfill every client's needs. In April 2011, Kimberly joined the Marie Robinson Salon as a colorist.

• NIKKI CHICK

  Nikki Chick was born and raised in sunny Florida. Hair was instilled in her; her mother is as stylist, as is her twin sister. Nikki made it her goal to know everything she can about the business while perfecting her natural talent. She attended Florida Beauty Academy and soon began assisting her mentor, Sherry Ratay, where she worked at Salon Ratay for over three years. After attending various hair color classes in major cities including Chicago, Miami, New York, and Orlando, Nikki knew she needed to make the move to New York City in order to further her career and cement her talent among the industry's elite. Upon her arrival in NYC, Nikki was drawn to Marie Robinson as her only choice of salon and soon landed a position working alongside the master colorist. Watching Marie at work allowed Nikki to perfect her aptitude for blondes as well as balayage–she loved seeing ribbons of color artistically placed throughout the hair. Nikki believes that in order to achieve natural-looking hair color, "there must be a variety of tonal change." In addition to assisting Marie with many of her celebrity clients, Nikki has worked with Nikki Hilton, Tory Burch, and makeup artist Bobbi Brown. She is most inspired by creating beautiful reds. Due to her technical skills and usage of different color lines, Nikki is able to achieve everything from deep reds to dimensional strawberry blondes. In March 2011, Nikki joined the Marie Robinson salon as a colorist.

• MEG SANCHEZ HARTIGAN

  Megan's passion for hair color began as a child, growing up in New York City. She would cut her own hair and save her allowance to purchase at-home color from the local pharmacy. Her father and stepmother always encouraged her creativity and ultimately persuaded her to pursue a career in the beauty industry. In 2010, shortly after graduating from cosmetology school, she met Marie Robinson, which led to an apprenticeship under the famed celebrity colorist. At the Marie Robinson salon, Megan has also assisted colorists Amy Huson and Bryan Thomson-DiPalma. Under the watchful eye of Marie, Megan was able to hone her color techniques in highlighting, balayage, and corrective color. Megan recently assisted Marie with several celebrity clients including Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, and Scarlett Johansson. She has also assisted during Fashion Week shows for designers such as Naeem Khan and Jill Stuart. She enjoys utilising her skills to create both edgy color combinations as well as natural tones. In 2010, Megan joined the Marie Robinson salon as a colorist.

  LANDY DEAN

  Established as a beauty expert by Allure and Daily Candy, world-renowned makeup artist and eyebrow specialist Landy Dean takes great pride in his work, drawing on his colorful journey for inspiration. His work appears regularly on the pages of premier fashion magazines, such as covers of Cosmopolitan and Harper's Bazaar. His celebrity roster includes Diane Kruger, Bernadette Peters, Sigourney Weaver, Naomi Watts, Malin Akerman, and Michelle Williams. Growing up in a small Florida beach town, Landy didn't initally set out to become a makeup artist but his flair for the creative inspired him to study art. While specializing in illustration, he discovered his passion for makeup and moved to New York City. Landy quickly immersed himself in the beauty industry. He traveled the world as a makeup artist for Vincent Longo. In Milan, his career soared. He became widely respected for his work for the runway shows of top designers including Armani, Prada, and Versace. At the same time, Landy's editorial work appeared in numerous top international titles. Since returning to NYC, Landy has continued to polish his craft, gaining recognition as an A-list artist. His clientele includes top editors, socialites, celebrities and those who appreciate exceptional makeup artistry. Landy enjoys sharing his technically trained eye, classic taste and sense of humor — all in the name of beauty and a good time. In April 2010, Landy Dean joined the Marie Robinson salon as a makeup artist and eyebrow expert.

• JOETTE BALSAMO

  A Brooklyn native, Joette loved watching her mother transform her natural look into polished glamour on a daily basis. When her mother handed down Diane Von Furstenberg and Mary Quant makeup palettes for her to play with, she ignited Joette's passion for beauty. Joette's career began by training with film and television makeup artists. After work with Laura Mercier Cosmetics, she was recruited by John Barrett and Warren Tricomi Salons. Her warm demeanor and masterful artistic technique hae made her a favorite amongst beauty editors and everyday women who want to look and feel their very best. In 2007, Joette joined Dave Eangelista as lead makeup artist at the Cornelia Day Resort, where she offered highly customized makeup lessons and bridal makeup. In 2009, Allure placed her on their Directory's "Master List" for makeup application. Joette's wide range of work can be seen on television, in print and on the runways. Her work and expert advice has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Today Show and CBS Morning Show as well as publications such as The New York Times, Elle Decor, InStyle, and Shape. She has also worked on shows for designers such as Valentino and Salvatore Farragamo and with celebrity clients like Jennifer Hudson, Gretchen Mol, and Maureen Dowd. In April 2011, Joette joined the Marie Robinson Salon as a makeup artist and lash tinting expert.
