Our operating room is registered by New York State and is accredited by the Gold standards and an additional accreditation; The Joint Commission. The doctors of Manhattan Podiatry Associates, PC typically use local anesthetic either alone or in combination with (Twilight Anesthesia) for their surgical procedures. This is safer and far superior to general anesthesia. This extremely safe anesthesia is given through an IV and is administered by a board cert anesthesiologists on site.
