Dr. Daniel Schweitzer
Daniel Schweitzer, DDS, FACP is an accomplished dentist and prosthodontist offering a wide range of advanced restorative, cosmetic, and periodontal treatments at Schweitzer & Schweitzer in Midtown Manhattan. Dr. Schweitzer attended New York University College of Dentistry on a full-merit scholarship, receiving his DDS degree in 1996. After completing a Residency in General Practice at Montefiore Medical Center, he returned to NYU for his certificate in Prosthodontics in 2004. His interest in dental implants led him to complete a two year Surgical Fellowship within the NYU Department of Implant Dentistry in 2006, where he is now a Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Schweitzer has performed extensive research in prosthodontics and published numerous articles which have distinguished him as a prominent leader and lecturer in his field. In 2012, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. In addition to serving as the President of the American College of Prosthodontists (New York Section) in 2014, Dr. Schweitzer is an active member of several professional organizations, including The New York State Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics.
