Le Pain Quotidien on South End Avenue is a Belgian bakery and restaurant in Battery Park City, right on the edge of the Hudson River. This is one of Manhattan's quietest and most residential neighbourhoods - a place where weekends move at a different pace and where a good brunch is a genuine occasion. We bake organic sourdough fresh every morning, the foundation of our tartines, toast and everything we make. The menu runs from breakfast through lunch: croissants, eggs, seasonal salads, soups, pastries and a full range of vegan and vegetarian dishes. All made with natural ingredients, and organic wherever possible. Open from 6:30am weekdays, 7:30am weekends.
