Consecutive interpreting does not require any specialist equipment or complex planning. Ideal for business meetings, depositions and similar types of events.

• Simultaneous Interpreting

  Also called "Conference Interpreting", Simultaneous Interpreting involves the interpreter translates while the person is still speaking. To make this type of interpretation work, simultaneous interpretation equipment is usually needed. The type of equipment needed will vary but will require a headset for each person that requires interpreting. For simultaneous interpreting it's helpful to know how many people will need interpreting. Also, this type of interpretation demands a lot of focus from the Interpreter and will usually require a team of two interpreters per language.
