She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude. She then attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, during which she was awarded the James R. Webster Jr. Award for superior clinical and humanitarian skills. She then completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Kimmel practices general gastroenterology, with a focus on colon cancer screening, reflux disease, celiac disease, liver disease, with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease. She is an attending physician at NYU Langone Hospital – Brooklyn, where she works with medical students, residents, and fellows. Her research has been presented at several national conferences and has been published in peer-reviewed journals on such topics as inflammatory bowel disease, motility, and medical student education. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, New York Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and American Gastroenterological Association.

Gustave, MD, MPH, is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. She received a B.A. from Wellesley College and her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Prior to entering medical school, she received a Master’s in Public Health at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Her research in health promotion and disease prevention earned her the Community Scholars Award: Special Interest Project from the Centers for Disease Control. Dr. Gustave completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital. At Brigham, she presented original research and was the recipient of the prestigious American College of Gastroenterology Clinical Research Award. Her clinical expertise encompasses all aspects of gastroenterology and endoscopy with specific interests in diseases of the pancreas, women’s digestive health, colon cancer screening, acid reflux disease, and Celiac disease. Dr. Gustave is an attending physician at Lenox Hill Hospital and NYU Langone Medical Center where she enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Her patient-first philosophy fuels her passion for individualized care. Dr. Gustave is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Pancreatic Association.     Administrator

    As the Administrator of Liberty Endoscopy Center, Juliana partners with physicians and staff to deliver compassionate and quality care for every patient. She believes in improving how patients seek and receive care by creating a welcoming environment that recognizes the nuanced backgrounds of a diverse patient base. Juliana spearheaded policies at Liberty Endoscopy Center that acknowledge the spectrum of gender identity and she pursues partnerships with community clinics in order to provide free screening colonoscopies for uninsured patients. Juliana has over 10 years of experience in healthcare and holds a Master’s degree in Literature, Language, and Theory from Hunter College. Working within two major New York health systems, Weill Cornell Medical College and Northwell Health, she gained invaluable perspective into the importance of how administrative decisions trickle down and directly affect the patient experience. Juliana’s experience as the queer daughter of immigrant parents has directly influenced her passion for closing the health equity gap. She knows every step towards that goal counts and she is proud of the dedication that the Liberty Endoscopy team shows in service of that shared mission.

  • Martin Wolff, MD, FACG

    Medical Director | Board-Certified Gastroenterologist | Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine

    Dr Wolff is a board-certified gastroenterologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center. He is dedicated to ensuring that Liberty Endoscopy Center provides high quality, safe, and compassionate care to all patients and is committed to creating a culture of excellence at Liberty. He is a devoted patient advocate and leads Liberty’s charity care program, which provides screening colonoscopies free of charge for uninsured or underserved patients. Dr. Wolff graduated summa cum laude from Yale University where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He went on to complete his medical education, internal medicine residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at NYU, where he was inducted into the AOA Medical Society and elected Internal Medicine Resident of the Year and Gastroenterology Fellow of the Year. Dr. Wolff has received numerous awards for his professionalism, research, teaching, and dedication to service. He is unwaveringly dedicated to his patients and is nationally recognized for his personable, compassionate, and humanistic approach to clinical medicine.
