Board Certified Pediatric DentistDr Cristina Board Certified Pediatric Dentist BIO FOR DR. CRISTINA: “Dr. Cristina” as she is known by her patients and their parents is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. She was born in Romania and spent a year in Austria before calling Fresh Meadows, Queens her permanent home. She received her B.S. in Biology from St. John’s University in 2002 and went to Columbia University School of Dental Medicine to fulfill her dream of becoming a dentist. After receiving her D.D.S. from Columbia University, she went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. As a young child, Dr. Cristina did not have access to proper dental care which resulted in numerous procedures and visits to the dentist. Experiencing first-hand the stress and anxiety of these visits but having compassionate and knowledgeable dental providers, Dr. Cristina decided to pursue her dream and become a pediatric dentist. She attended Stony Brook University for her Pediatric Dental residency and completed her program in 2015 where she served as Chief Resident. She has since then returned and has taught as Assistant Clinical Professor for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program to teach future aspiring pediatric residents.
