  Michael Ficazzola, MD, FACS

  Urologist

  Dr. Ficazzola graduated cum laude from New York University. He then received his Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine, where he graduated with a Distinction in Research, at the top of his class and as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Upon graduation, he completed his general surgery and urology training at New York University Medical Center under Chairman Dr. Herbert Lepor. Dr. Ficazzola has published extensively in the urologic literature, including peer-review journals and book chapters, on prostate cancer, minimally invasive treatments for kidney stone disease, and voiding dysfunction in both males and females. He has presented his abstract findings at national meetings and his research has been recognized both nationally and internationally. In 2000, he was named a Pfizer Scholar, which is awarded to physicians who have advanced the science of urology and improved patient care. Dr. Ficazzola’s practice consists of all aspects of urology, but he has particular expertise in minimally invasive urology, including laparoscopic urologic procedures minimally invasive procedures for kidney stones, and laser prostate procedures.

  Carl Gerardi, MD, FACS

  Dr. Carl Gerardi is originally from the New York area and comes from a family of physicians. His medical training began in High School where he spent several hundred hours volunteering on an ambulance and at a local hospital. His undergraduate training was at Fordham University at Rose Hill and medical school at SUNY Health Science center at Brooklyn. After completing medical school he was accepted to New York University Medical Center Urology program. His training included general surgical and urologic training at NYU, Bellevue and the Manhattan Veteran Hospital. He also spent time in specialized cancer training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He then became board certified by the American Board of Urology. He is currently an executive board member of Integrated Medical Professionals. Dr. Gerardi began practicing Urology in New York City and Westchester County where he was then involved in teaching residents at both locations. He became Associate Clinical Professor at New York University. He continued to develop his practice over multiple office sites in the New York area and has 5 urologists included in his division. The pursuit of the highest quality of patient care combined with the level of personal commitment by IMP physicians attracted Dr. Gerardi and his division to become members. The group now provides comprehensive state of the art care predominantly in the Westchester community as well as NYC.
