  • Allen M. Turek Esq.

    Since his admission to the Bar in 1978, Allen M. Turek has practiced in all areas of real estate law with a concentration in cooperatives and condominiums. His experience encompasses cooperative/condominium conversions, the representation of boards of directors and managers of cooperatives and condominiums, time shares, shopping center syndications, hotels, acquisitions and sales, loan workouts, transactional real estate, new construction development, construction law, foreclosures and rehabilitating troubled cooperatives and condominiums. His client list includes boards of directors and managers of residential cooperatives and condominiums, sponsors, and institutional lenders. In addition, he has represented syndicators active in real estate development, commercial landlords, commercial tenants, real estate developers and construction companies. His current clients include over fifty (50) existing cooperative/condominium boards in the greater metropolitan area, as well as large scale developers and sponsors of offering plans to convert individual properties to condominium ownership. Mr. Turek is an accomplished litigator, having appeared as special counsel in complicated bankruptcy cases involving real estate. He also pioneered the use of bankruptcy filings on behalf of financially troubled cooperatives. Mr. Turek has successfully represented clients who have sued their insurance carriers to compel them to extend liability coverage when such coverage was originally denied by the insurance carrier. Mr. Turek is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton (BA – 1973), the University of Chicago from which he holds a Masters in English (MA – 1974) and New York Law School (JD – 1977). After tenures with The Law Office of Edward L. Schiff (1978-1984), Schiff, Turek, Kakoyiannis (1984-1989), Edwards & Angell (1989-1992), Schiff, Turek, Kirschenbaum (1992-1994) and Hartman & Craven (1995-2000), he fulfilled a career-long dream of forming his own firm in 2000. Mr. Turek is an active member of the New York State Bar Association (Real Property Division; Committee on Cooperatives and Condominiums) and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (former member of the Committee on Cooperatives and Condominiums). He is a former co-chair of the NYSBA Loan Workout Sub-Committee. Allen lives on Long Island with his wife and their six dogs. Their children (4) are all grown and happily living elsewhere. When not working, Allen enjoys cooking, golf, tennis, yoga and skiing.

  • Jeremy S. Roth Esq.

    Partner

    Jeremy joined the Law Office of Allen Turek in 2000 and became a partner of Turek Roth LLP in 2004. Jeremy concentrates his practice on all areas of real estate law. He has an extensive client base and handles all types of commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase and sale of commercial properties throughout the United States, as well as the negotiation with lenders on the financing of these transactions. Jeremy is involved in the negotiation and drafting of commercial leases for his clients and closes on commercial mortgages for his commercial clients. In addition to his commercial work, Jeremy regularly handles residential closings involving cooperative apartments, condominium units and single and multi-family home closings. Jeremy is intimately involved in the day-to-day representation of numerous cooperative and condominium boards in the New York Metropolitan Area. Jeremy received his law degree from New York Law School (1999) and his Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Lehigh University (1995). Jeremy is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, Real Property Division and the Committee on Cooperatives and Condominiums. Jeremy lives in New Jersey with his wife, his two daughters and son. Jeremy enjoys playing golf and tennis and is a avid fan of the Yankees, Giants and Knicks.

  • Jason A. Grossman Esq.

    Partner

    Jason A. Grossman is an accomplished litigator and business advisor with over 25 years of experience resolving complex commercial and real estate disputes at both the trial and appellate court levels. Jason is involved in all phases of litigation in a broad range of high stakes commercial matters, including complex contract and fraud cases, claims for breach of fiduciary duty, business divorces, corporate control disputes, restrictive covenant/non-compete/employment issues, real estate litigation, and construction/project litigation. Jason represents banks, developers, co-ops, condos, and commercial landlords/tenants in real estate matters, and counsels individual and corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies, insurance carriers, hospitality groups, and tech startups in a wide variety of commercial matters. Jason also currently serves as outsourced General Counsel to several boards, companies, and other organizations. Jason joined Turek Roth Grossman in 2014 as Partner and Chair of its Litigation Practice, after having developed his own particular expertise in litigation and dispute resolution during his over 20 years of Big Law experience, most recently as Managing Attorney of Latham & Watkins LLP.

  • Gaddi Goren, ESQ.

    Partner

    Gaddi Goren joined Turek Roth Grossman LLP in 2015, and was elevated to Partner in 2020. Gaddi has significant experience litigating, arbitrating, and mediating commercial/business/real estate/employment disputes throughout New York City and Long Island. Gaddi also has an active appellate practice, and has been involved with high stakes appeals before the First Department and Second Department. Also, most recently, Gaddi, along with his law partner, Jason A. Grossman, successfully obtained a unanimous reversal before the New York State Court of Appeals. In addition to regularly appearing in Court, Gaddi actively negotiates contracts on behalf of his clients, which includes contractors, landlords and tenants (both commercial and residential), shareholders in coops, medical professionals, real estate developers, coop and condominium boards, managing agents, insurance brokerage firms, tech startups, local businesses, and an upscale hotel located on Long Island. Gaddi’s practice also includes representing individuals that are seeking competent, objective, and sound legal advice. Prior to joining Turek Roth Grossman LLP, Gaddi was an Associate at Rivkin Radler LLP, and a Law Clerk to the Hon. Francis B. Schultz of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County. New York Super Lawyer’s magazine has named Gaddi as a Rising Star from 2018 – 2021. Notably, only 2.5% of the lawyers in New York State are named to the Rising Stars list. Gaddi lives in Forest Hills with his wife, daughter, and puppy (Sunshine). Gaddi is fluent in Spanish as his parents are natives of Santiago, Chile. Gaddi is an avid traveler, and loves visiting his family in California and Texas.

  • Jeffery M. Gibilaro Esq.

    As an Associate of Turek Roth Grossman LLP’s transactional department, Jeff’s practice involves the representation of clients in connection with the acquisition and sale of residential and commercial properties with a focus on cooperative and condominium apartments. His practice includes counseling borrowers in real estate financing transactions and assisting with commercial refinances. In addition, Jeff counsels transfer agents and acts as transfer agent for numerous cooperative apartment corporations. Jeff holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University. He was the recipient of New York Law School’s Milton S. Gould Award for Proficiency in the Law of Contracts in 2014 and is an Alumni Associate of New York Law School’s Center for Real Estate Studies. Jeff lives in Staten Island with his wife, enjoys movies and television and is an avid Mets fan.

  • Avi Kimmel, ESQ.

    Avi Kimmel joined Turek Roth Grossman, LLP as an associate attorney in 2019, where he represents property owners, businesses, co-op and condominium boards, landlords, tenants and developers in a wide variety of real estate transactional and litigation matters. Prior to joining Turek Roth Grossman, LLP, Avi worked at law firms in Manhattan with a focus on real estate and business law, including real estate transactions and litigation, commercial matters, corporate issues and municipal financing. Avi also previously worked as an urban planner in New York City. He holds a master’s degree in city and regional planning and has helped communities, businesses and public officials to develop land use, economic development and infrastructure projects as a planning consultant to the City and State of New York. Additionally, Avi has extensive experience in the fields of public policy and international affairs. He is a former U.S. Presidential Management Fellow and has served at the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Avi’s interests include history and travel, and he has lived and worked in Ecuador, Colombia, China, Japan, and Australia. Avi received his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, his M.C.R.P. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his B.A. from Brown University. During law school, Avi was a member of Law Review and externed for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Avi is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the District of Columbia.

  • Todd R. Baltch, ESQ.

    An experienced litigator whose practice has focused on real estate and commercial litigation, Mr. Baltch has successfully represented commercial and residential landlords and tenants, condominiums and cooperative boards, mortgage lenders/servicers and real property owners, in foreclosure, landlord- tenant and commercial litigation before the New York and New Jersey State trial and appellate Courts. While in law school, Mr. Baltch was awarded the prestigious Rebecca Knox Fellowship and interned for the Nassau County District Attorneys office and several New York State judges. Mr. Baltch has successfully tried dozens of cases to verdict, has argued hundreds of motions and has a penchant for settling cases in order to obtain optimal results for his clients. Mr. Baltch graduated from the University of Buffalo with a B.A. is psychology and obtained his J.D. from Touro Law School.
