Dr. Theodore Aaronson

Theodore Aaronson, DDS, has been a cosmetic and general dentist in New York City for more than 50 years and currently sees patients at Dr. Aaronson & Associates in Midtown East, Manhattan. In that time, he’s had the great pleasure of working alongside many talented individuals and helping many wonderful patients. Dr. Aaronson was born in Brooklyn and raised in West Hempstead on Long Island. He attended Penn State University before graduating from New York University College of Dentistry in 1970. Following his studies, Dr. Aaronson served in the United States Army Dental Corps for four years reserve and two years active duty as a dentist with the rank of captain. He opened his private practice in 1974 and has been in the same location for more than 52 years.

Dr. Sara Menashehoff

Sara Menashehoff, DDS, is an experienced dentist at Dr. Aaronson & Associates in Midtown East, Manhattan. She is proud to provide a wide range of dental services to patients living in and around New York City. Dr. Menashehoff is a graduate of Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York. After graduating, she stayed on at Columbia as a resident of the school’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. Her expertise is comprehensive and ranges from root canal therapy to crowns and bridges and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Menashehoff is also trained to use contemporary cosmetic solutions, such as Invisalign® and porcelain veneers, and many of the most advanced dental technologies. Dr. Menashehoff’s treatment philosophy emphasizes education. She wants patients to fully understand their needs and the solutions available to them. When patients are informed, they make more educated choices about treatment, which in turn, helps them achieve a healthier and more beautiful smile.

Dr. Allan Shanin

Allan Shanin, DDS, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Dr. Aaronson & Associates in Midtown East, Manhattan. He is proud to provide patients in New York City with exceptional care. Dr. Shanin received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in Manhattan, New York. He then went on to complete a one-year general practice residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens in Flushing, New York, where he gained knowledge and skills in restorative and implant dentistry. From there, Dr. Shanin went on to earn his certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, an affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College, where he also served as chief resident. While there, his training consisted of the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, dental alveolar surgery, pathology and reconstruction, management of temporomandibular joint disorders, wisdom tooth extraction, bone grafting, and implant surgery. He also received his anesthesia and IV sedation training there as well. Dr. Shanin now practices full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with a focus on dental-alveolar, wisdom teeth, and implant surgery. He is recognized by his colleagues and patients for providing a high level of care with a unique sense of compassion. Dr. Shanin is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, and New York State Dental Association. He currently resides in Long Island with his wife and four children

Dr. Vandeep Bagga

Vandeep Bagga, DDS, is a Califonia-born and New York City-raised certified periodontist. He currently sees patients at Dr. Aaronson & Associates in Midtown East, Manhattan. He earned his bachelor’s degree at New York University and then completed a master’s degree at Drexel University while working at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, where he served as president for over 1500 students. Dr. Bagga stayed an additional three years to complete his residency in periodontics and was awarded Outstanding Clinical Performance in his program. Dr. Bagga specializes in implant dentistry as well as conventional surgical and non-surgical modalities of periodontal therapy. He concentrates on functional and aesthetic surgical procedures, including hard and soft tissue grafting procedures and focuses on an interdisciplinary approach in conjunction with endodontic, orthodontic, and prosthodontic conditions. Dr. Bagga prioritizes his patient’s well-being and ensures they understand the importance of each step of the treatment plan. Dr. Bagga lives in Jersey City with his wife, and they both enjoy fine dining, streaming the latest comedies, and planning their next tropical adventure.
